Westin’s passion for gemstones began over 25 years ago, a journey marked by dedication and expertise that culminated in his proud status as a GIA alumnus. Originally from Ritzville, Washington, he has called the beautiful city of Sequim home for nearly a decade, where he and his wife Larissa—herself a lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest—have built a life from the ground up. Their shared commitment to growth is mirrored in Westin’s academic pursuits; he is currently completing his bachelor’s degree in business and plans to advance to a master’s program, all while remaining actively enrolled in GIA’s Graduate Gemology program. This deep-rooted experience and tireless drive form the foundation of High Country Treasures’ refined approach to the world of gemstones.
